Dear Eric,

We think of you and talk about you often. We remember the wonderful evenings in the 1960s
when we watched 'Rawhide' for the first time and were held spellbound - lost in the magic created by you as Gil Favor.

Every episode was a joy, something special to look forward to each week.

Later on it was with shock and sadness we learned  about the tragedy of your death in Peru.

Through the years since the 60s we never forgot you. Thoughts of your beautiful smile cheered us and your courage in the face of the odds stacked against you from childhood - encourage us through the difficult times.

We met through Sherry's website for you and became firm friends. When we spend time together, we watch many episodes of 'Rawhide' and the 'Bonanza' ones too.

The magic is still there as potent as it ever was.

So Eric, on your birthday our thoughts will be with you where your are - just further along the trail.
